Il sera intéressant de voir comment Tom Hanks réagira lorsqu'en janvier 2007, le prêtre Orthodoxe ne viendra plus pour la bénédiction annuelle de la maison, visite que le fait d'avoir marié une "Orthodoxe" lui valait...

Me pardonner SVP pour mon français. Il ya plus de 30 ans que je l'apprennais. (Je suis américain.)
M. Hanks ne disait pas que l'Orthodoxie était "écervelée". Et il ne disait pas que le film représentait la vérité. Au contraire, il disait que le film n'est pas un documentaire.
On doit voir que le film (et le roman) est si faible qu'il ne menace pas le christianisme du tout. Si l'on ne peut pas, c'est vraiment "écervelée".

I forgot the question mark at the end of the title. The text was on fr. Joseph's blog (orthodixie), and the end of the sentence of Tom Hanks was the reason of my title..
But without the question mark, it's indeed... weak..
I don't share the optimism for the threat. I have seen today several people in our close relations, a 60-old man, son of a sacristan, always to his RC parish till his divorce years ago. And others of his family, all the same : Gospel must be a lie created by priests.
I have been reading this too.
We need short but effective texts to counterbalance the effect of all those venom-filled novels & movies. There is no year without such.
It transforms slowly but surely the thoughs of the average people, and they will vote for people with very evilish ideas. Like in Belgium, euthanazi, abortion, and so on.
